Another interesting Elora activity is whitewater kayaking.
Here, two members of the Guelph Kayak Club have put their kayaks into the water
at a point just after the Irvine river joins the Grand, and they will paddle all
the way through the Elora Gorge park.

Just ahead, the
river narrows and drops. |

Before tackling the challenging rapids
ahead, these paddlers pause to play, and practice Eskimo rolls. Obviously
these members of the Guelph Kayak club are very skilled and experienced. One of
them comes ashore and walks along the river bank, examining the rapids. Then it's time
to tackle the whitewater. |
